Loving father of Julian J. Herndon and Jacob J. Herndon. Former husband of Dawn. Devoted son of Connie and Jerry McCann and David B. (Ann) Herndon. Dear brother of David A. (Sylvia) Herndon and Jesse McCann, Sheryl (David) Lulewicz and the late John J. (husband of Debby). Proud grandson of Ida (the late John) Altobelli and Olga McCann. Also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joe was an avid Harley biker and called his bike “Ginger”and also was a photographer. Visitation at the Sterling Heights Chapel of Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home 13650 E. Fifteen Mile Road, (@ Schoenherr) Friday 2-9 pm with 6:30 pm Rosary. Funeral Saturday Instate 9:30 am St. Faustina Catholic Church 14025 E. 12 Mile Road, Warren, until time of Mass 10:00 am.
