Beloved husband of Patty (nee Christel). Loving father of Diane, Raymond and Michael. Devoted brother of Diane (Carmen) Mirabella, Phil (Barbara), Denise (Dwight) Sowter, Yvonne (Nick) Contesti, Connie (Robert) Szczesny, and Thomas (Lori). Proud uncle of many. Dear son of the late Adolph and Jennie Hernandez.
      
Visitation at St. Thecla Parish, 20740 S. Nunneley, Clinton Township, Tuesday February 6th from 9:15 am until time of Mass at 10:00 am.

Raymond Hernandez was a great friend, loving husband and a man who loved his family. Raymond was a ray of sunshine to everyone who he crossed paths with. He could approach anyone and bring a smile to their face. He took great pride in watching his sons play sports. The success of his youngest son, Michael, as a professional fighter was one of his proudest moments. He enjoyed spending time and laughing with his beautiful daughter Diane. Raymond and Patty have been married for 43 years and were childhood sweethearts. Ray had a strong work ethic. One of his accomplishments was to help in the construction of the first outdoor pickle ball courts in Clinton Township. As we all know, Ray loved Pickel Ball. Go Lions!
