Augustina "Augie" Anetrini

Anetrini, Augustina (nee Cusumano), age 91, July 24, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Ulisse “Lee”. Cherished aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her generosity and supportive nature will be missed. Dearest sister and preceded in death by her siblings John, Mary, Jacob, Salvatore, Antonio, Russell, Clara and Rose. Augie was a devoted parishioner of Assumption Grotto Church in Detroit. She served the Lord with all her heart.
Visitation Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 2pm to 8pm with a 7pm Rosary at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights. Instate Friday 9:30am until the time of a Funeral Mass 10:00am at Assumption Grotto Church, 13770 Gratiot Avenue in Detroit. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
Of the many roles Augie and her husband Lee assisted the church with, the most significant was the fundraising to renovate the Grotto and the cemetery. In order to continue to support this effort, donations can be made to Assumption Grotto Church for the “Shrine in Honor of Our Lady of Lourdes.”
