Charles Wilfred James

Charles W. James, of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 67. Born in Detroit, Michigan, on August 21, 1957, Charles was the son of Daniel Webster and Eleanor (Bruner) James.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Candi James; his children, Deana Gilbert (Jamie, Christian, Jenna and Ethan) Melissa Anderson (Ryan, Molly and Evelyn ) Joshua Carroll (Rosalynn, Wrigley and Brooks), Christopher James; and his extended family and friends who cherished him dearly.

Charles was known for his warmth, dedication to family, and his generous spirit. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Visitation will be Thursday August 29, 2024 at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. 15 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48312 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and Friday August 30, 2024 from 10:00 am until the funeral service. 

Funeral Services will be Friday August 30, 2024 at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. 15 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48312 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bob Harvey officiating. 

Anyone who knew Charlie knew that he was a simple man. In his honor the family is requesting that if you come to the services to come comfortable and as you would if you were going to see Charlie. He wouldn't want you to be in a suit and uncomfortable. 

He will be deeply missed.
