Christopher John Schwartz

Schwartz, Christopher J., Sr. December 13, 2020, age 41. Beloved husband of Nicole. Dear father of Cainin (ex-wife, Marie Schwartz), Ceagan, Carlee, Cora, Corynn, and Christopher, Jr. Dear son of Peggy Jean Schwartz and John L. Schwartz (Janice). Dear brother of Heather Modell (Russell, Sr.), Holly Fields (Marcus), Cassandra Smith (Johnathon), John Jr. (Rebekah) and Joy. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Chris graduated from Brandon High School, Ortonville, MI in 1997. He attended Johnson & Wales University, SC earning a Culinary Arts Degree. He became a proud chef at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Pontiac, MI.

For a short while, Chris owned his own construction business, doing home repairs and roofing. He then returned to his passion for cooking.

Chris moved to Florida with his wife, Nicole, because he so loved the ocean. He always said, ‘the beach is my happy place’. He and Nicole were raising their family in Clearwater, FL.

He loved all his children dearly. They enjoyed going to the beach, parks, arcades, and having fun dance parties at home. He especially enjoyed cooking extravagant meals for the family.

Fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends were his hobbies, along with his artistic tattooing.

He enjoyed an eclectic mix of music, going to many concerts over the years.

Chris was a very loving, and devoted husband and father. He was an extremely hardworking individual, doing what he loved best…raising his family and being a great chef.

Visitation at Bagansco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights, Wednesday at 9:30 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Brown City MI.

Under current health conditions facial masks must be worn and proper social distancing practiced.
