Donald Anthony Saputo

Donald Anthony Saputo of Clinton Township, MI was born on September 11, 1923 and went home to his Heavenly Father on March 8, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his precious wife, Shirley.  Dear father of Steven (Dody), Donna (Mark) Ranich, and Thomas.  Beloved grandfather of Brittany, Lindsay, and David.  Adored great-grandfather of Taylor "Gracie", Benjamin, Caleb, and Savannah.   Donald is remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, that was strong, kind, and greatly respected.  He was very close with his family, deeply treasured, and will be missed immensely. Donald was a World War II and Korean War veteran, having served in the United States Navy, and a devout Catholic, belonging to St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church until his death.
