Edward Checkley

Checkley, Edward, age 73, June 13, 2020. Beloved husband of Judy for 16 years. Dear father of Michael (Mia) Checkley and step father of Brian Yonka and Nicholas Yonka. Loving grandfather of Chelsea, Brianna and Travis. Proud great grandfather of Mya. Dearest brother of Bill (Tami) and the late Tom. Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Elizabeth. He is loved and missed by his many nieces and nephews. Ed retired from Ford Motor Company at 40 years as a journeyman. Visitation and funeral services will take place at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home in Sterling Heights. Due to current restrictions on funeral services, Ed’s family will be personally contacting friends and family regarding days and times for services. Interment at Clinton Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
