George L. Good passed away peacefully on August 12, 2024.
A faithful Catholic, and veteran of the U. S. Navy, he was born in Sandusky, Ohio on September 5, 1931. George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dortha brother Don, sister Rita, and beloved wife of 64 years, Angeline. An engineer by trade, George was employed by General Motors for over 45 years. He was an avid runner, bridge player, golfer and life-long learner, but his life’s work was his family.
A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, George is survived by his children, Marie (Dennis) Rodgers, Catherine Good, Barbara (Michael) Hoef, and Carl Good, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His stories, wisdom, and encouraging words will be missed, but his love and faith live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
Visitation Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 3-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. Fifteen Mile, Sterling Heights, MI.
Requiem Funeral Mass Friday, August 16, 2024, at 10:30am with Instate at 10:00am at St. Mary Queen of Creation Catholic Church, 50931 Maria, New Baltimore, MI.
