Iolanda Giglio

Giglio, Iolanda, age 89, April 3, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Emilio for 73 years. Dear mother of Luigi (Olga), Francesco, Joe (Anna), Lucia (Mauro) Battaglini, Tony (Mary), and the late Maria. Proud grandmother of Rosanna, Maria (Mike), Emilio (Antonietta), Gisela (Giacomo), Gina (Mario), Sheila (Scott), Iolanda (Tom), Francesco, Marcello, Hanika, Natascia, Nancy (Joe), Melissa (Josh), Anthony, Angelo, Andrianna and great grandmother of 18. Dear sister of Carmela (the late Frank) Minano and Lucia (Benny) Romano. Iolanda met her husband Emilio in the small town of Guardia Piemontese, Italy. They wed in 1947 where they started their family. They moved to the United States in 1967. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to cook and feed her family. Visitation Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 9:30am until the time of a Funeral Service at 11:00am at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
