Jonathan D. Brennan Jr.

Jonathan David Brennan, age 44 of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on November 22, 2020. Beloved husband of Melissa for 11 years. Proud father of Abigail and Vivian. Dear son of Judith and the late Jonathan, Sr. Loving brother of Kate Brennan and Carrie (Andy) Sampson and uncle of Amelia Grace, Cole Elton, Lila Rose and Amelia Violet. Cherished brother-in-law of Andy Sampson and Robert (Brooke) McKenzie. Jon was deeply loved by his extended family and many close friends, his loss is immeasurable.

Jon grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and was full of mischievous energy from a young age. After moving to Michigan he remained loyal and a huge Buckeye fan. He attended Cleveland Heights High School where he played hockey and was a member of the Hockey Fraternity and just an all around popular and beloved guy.

Jon inherited a deep love of art and music from his parents. He had a great eye for art, photography and fashion. Jon loved playing his guitar and jamming to different genres of music. He enjoyed sharing his playlists and playing tribute to all of the greats. Jon was a talented bassist and an original member of the Vibrating Path Shifters. He inspired his girls to draw, paint, love music and connect to their creative spirits. Jon was a fabulous cook and he loved entertaining others.

Jon was a dear to many. He had the ability to light up a room with his smile, wit, great sense of humor, warmth, and generous heart. Jon was often described as “one of the coolest guys you will ever meet,” he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, December 5th, 2020 from 2pm to 8pm with a 7:30pm Service at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights.
