Joseph D. Stocker

Stocker, Joseph D., June 28, 2020, age 88. Beloved husband of the late Irene. Dear father of Susan (Art) Comiska, David (June), Brian (Patty), Laura (Ted) Zbizek, Paul (the late Sue), Doug (Vickie), Tom (Renea) Carol (Paul) Wilson, James, Lynn (Eddie) Covell and the late Kevin. Proud grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 2. Dear brother of Edward. Joseph graduated from St. Catherine's High School. He worked for GM at the Warren Tech Center and retired after 31 years. He had a pleasant disposition and was kind to all he met. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 3042 and a long time parishioner at St. Veronica Church. Joe was a kind hearted soul to all and will sadly be missed.
Visitation at the Sterling Heights Chapel of Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road, Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Veronica Church, 21551 Universal Drive, Eastpointe, MI 48021. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
Due to continued restrictions, social distancing rules must be followed and masks will be required at all times at the funeral home as well as at the church. Contributions may be made to the Special Olympics or a charity of your choice.
