Joshua Decatur Zaren

Joshua (aka “Sunshine”) passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the age of 32. Joshua was a devoted and loving father of Joshua “Jr” and Suzie “Q” Zaren. Beloved son of Lorri (David) Bott and Gary Zaren. Dearest brother of Tanya (Derek), Luke, Emily, Denise (the late Ray), Sharon (Troy) and Debbie (Damian). Joshua is predeceased by Nana (Alice). He is survived by Grandmama (Loretta), aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, co-workers and friends.

Joshua was named after the book in the bible which means “to save”. Joshua expressed his desire “to save” others from their plights by the words reflected in many of the songs he wrote. Joshua was full of life and a natural born leader and athlete whose brilliant smile and great presence lit up a room. He was an aspiring musician, singer, song-writer and recording artist. Joshua was best known in his profession, as a hardworking, talented and skilled auto body painter.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Joshua’s life, will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at the Sterling Heights Chapel of Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. 15 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48312.
