Kathleen "Kathy" Belleville

Mrs. Kathleen (Kathy) Anne Belleville, age 68, September 12, 2020. Beloved wife of Leo for 36 wonderful years. Dear mother of Sarah Anne and Richard Jacob. Loving mother-in-law of Steven Michael Clark. Kathy is survived by two sisters: Pamela Thornton of Port Huron and Jean Wilson of Warren, MI. Kathy is survived by three brothers-in-law: Morris Belleville, Douglas Belleville, and Steve Thornton. Kathy will be missed and remembered for her great love for her family and many friends, as well as her deep faith in and commitment to Christ.

A graduate of Spring Arbor College, Kathy worked for the US Army for over 28 years as a Contract Specialist at the Tank Automotive Command in Warren, MI. She worked on a variety of high-profile, high-dollar projects, including the contract management of 5 tank facilities located throughout the United States. A naturally friendly person, she was loved by her coworkers. Kathy prided herself on her accomplishments at TACOM well into her last days.

Kathy lived in various places during her life, including Toledo, OH; Romeo, MI; Warren, MI; St. Clair Shores, MI; Clinton Twp, MI; Shelby, MI; and Brighton, MI. Kathy retired in 2004 and moved to St. Cloud, FL two years later. She enjoyed photography with her spouse throughout her retirement, with a flair for bird photography. She took a particular liking to the Florida Scrub Jay and Great White Pelican. As a lover of nature, she often visited gardens and photographed the many flowers there. Cooking, scrapbooking, sewing, gardening, and reading were also precious to her. Foremost among her passions was singing. First performing as a soloist in church in her teen years, Kathy continued to put her singing voice to use throughout her life in church and at weddings. A perpetual optimist, she was heard singing in the hospital only a few short days before her passing.

Visitation Friday, September 25, 2020 from 3pm to 9pm and Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 9am to 11am. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00am at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 East 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights. Burial at Washtenong Memorial Park, Ann Arbor, MI, September 26, 2020 at 3pm.

Due to the current health conditions facial masks must be worn and proper social distancing will be required.
