Lois "Lorraine" Schmitt

Schmitt, Lois L., age 99, July 2, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Robert for 45 years. Dear mother of Wayne (Nancy), the late Frances Kott, Sharon Nowicki and Lorie (Ron) Papa. Loving grandmother of Teddi, Tony, Tracy, the late Kurt, Ron Jr., Mike, Rob, Ken, Wayne Jr. and Larry. Proud great grandmother of 22 and great-great grandmother of 15. Preceded in death by her siblings Edna, Ethel and George. Lois was a very social and vibrant lady who enjoyed the casino and bingo. She was a member of the East Detroit Eagles for over 50 years. A Memorial Gathering will take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 1pm to 7pm with a 3pm Memorial Service at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights.

Due to current restrictions from governor's office on funeral services, visitation in small groups with limitation of 10 people per room with social distancing rules must be followed and masks will be required at all times.
