Loretta Grace Waldner

Lorraine (Loretta) Grace Waldner, beloved Mother, Wife, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Aunt left this earth on Wednesday, June 13th at Henry Ford Hospital, Michigan.

Our Mom had more terms of endearment than most people ever, from just Mom to Grandma, to “tiny Grandma” to Hana Bana, Gramsy and so many more. She had all of the terms because she was so loved by all of her 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 6 (and a half) great grandchildren, and believe it or not 2 great, great grandchildren. Our Mom was the best grandmother to all of her grand, great grand and great great grand kids.

Lorraine was born August 3rd, 1925 in Detroit. She was the oldest daughter of three girls by Joseph and Helen Kusch. Lorraine always looked forward to any holiday, event, or opportunity to enjoy the company of her extended family and friends. She worked harder than most for many years and when she met Bill Waldner, her second husband, she found the person with whom she would spend the rest of her life. She loved the farm she called home with Bill and enjoyed spending time at their lake cottage, especially when her family would come and spend time. She was our love.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband William (Bill) Waldner, parents Helen and Joseph, sisters Sylvia Burke and Joann Scott. She is survived by her children Michelle Ohl (Kevin), Kevin Meagher (Carolann), Kathy Fee (Darryl), and Tim Meagher (Amy), along with the 10 grandchildren, 6.5 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials to The Capuchins would be appreciated.
