Norkus, Lorna (nee Di Nardo), Age 58. Beloved wife of Philip for 35 years. Loving mother of Celia and Jacob. Dear sister to Mark Di Nardo, Ann (Doug) Holdsworth and Kevin (Theresa) Di Nardo. Sister in law of Letha (Wayne) Stewart and the late Don (Mary Ann) Wallace. Beloved niece of Sr. Rita Joyce Di Nardo. Proceeded in death by her parents Luigi “Louie” and Rebecca “Becky”, her in laws Walter and Charlotte Norkus, and her uncle and aunt Dominick and Cynthia Raciti. Proud Auntie of Rebecca (William) Vanderwyngaard, Adam Holdsworth, Nathan Holdsworth, Davis Di Nardo, Jesse (Cassie) Owen and Christi (Anthony) Grahm. Great Auntie of Justin and Joshua Vanderwyngaard. Lorna was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family and friends, cooking, assisting the children at Cross of Glory, being in the company of her great nephews Justin and Joshua Vanderwyngaard, and spending time at her family cottage in Fife Lake. She will forever be remembered by her family, friends, and church family. Visitation Friday, February 8th from 2pm-9pm at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (13650 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). Service at Cross of Glory (61095 Campground Rd, Washington, MI 48094) Saturday, February 9th at 1pm with a meal to follow.
