Mary Elizabeth Gesing

Mary Elizabeth Gesing, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024. Born on May 26, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the cherished daughter of William & Helena (Delmott) Maher.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry J. Gesing, her siblings Richard and Barbara Maher, her son Henry J. Gesing Jr, and her daughter Margaret M. Jarema.
Mary leaves behind her daughter Ann M. Rogers, her grandchildren Steven R. Rogers and Michael H. Rogers, her great grandchildren Ethan H. Rogers and Evelyn M. Rogers, and her siblings Tom and Mike Maher.
Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family was the center of her life, and she always put them first.
Mary was known for her warm heart, kind spirit, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones and her faith. She was a devout Catholic having went to Mass every week and reciting the Rosary daily. She will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at St. Blase Catholic Church, 12151 15 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48312, where Mary will be In State at 9:00 am, and Mass will be held at 9:30 am.
Mary's legacy will live on through her daughter Ann and all the lives she touched throughout her lifetime.
