Millie Gietzen

Millie Gietzen, passed away November 12, 2023, age 79.

Beloved wife of Larry for 40 wonderful years since July 16, 1983. Loving mother of Shelly (Steve) Lukasik, Monica (Dave) Moutoux, and Tim Fields. Dear grandmother of Jaqui, Vicki, Jordan, Rylie, and Gavin. Adoring dogmom of Buddy.

She worked as hairdresser and in a flower shop.

Millie and Larry loved to travel together. Some of their favorites include Hawaii, Mexico, London and Paris.

She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening in her yard and tending to her flowers and cactus in her sunroom. Millie had an artistic talent and loved to draw and paint. She enjoyed camping, canoeing, and long walks in the woods.

Millie would spend her time going to see the Red Wings, Tiger games, and to many concerts.

Above all Millie loved to spend time with her kids, grandkids, and her dog.

Visitation Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. Fifteen Mile, Sterling Heights, MI.
