Nick S. Cortese

Cortese, Nick S., age 88, March 11, 2020. Beloved husband of Lisandra. Dear brother of Bill (Pam) Cortese and Mimi Cortese. He is loved and missed by many nieces, nephews and godchildren. At the age of 4, his mother passed away and he was raised by his grandmother, Louisa Poma. Nick proudly joined at age 18 and served during the Korean War. He was stationed in Sipan. After the service, he worked as an engineer at Chrysler for 30 years. Visitation Friday, March 20, 2020 from 2pm to 8pm and Saturday 9am until the time of a Funeral Service 10am at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
Due to current regulations, all gatherings need to be kept under 50 guests.
