Iannucci, Pasquale, February 13, 2021, age 92. Beloved husband of the late Ida. Dear father of Steven (Darlene), Michelle (Bruce) McLean and the late Michael (Denise). Proud grandfather of Michael (Vicky), Carrie (Bill), Maria, Anthony (Tina), Michael, Jennifer (Michael) and Nicole. Great grandfather of Tyler, Adam, Destiny, Evan, Abigail, Richie, Vinny and Alex. Brother in law of Jennie Colella. Survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pasquale "Pat" as he was known, was loved by all. He was a strong man with a gentle soul. First and foremost he cherished his family. His 70+ year love affair with his wife Ida, and the unconditional love for his family was an inspiration to us all.
He approached everything with passion and a strong work ethic. His love of Bowling started in 1948 when Sabatini needed a ride to the bowling alley. After his first ball, they signed him up! He was a natural. Pat bowled professionally on the Stroh’s and Coca Cola teams. He is a 2-time Masters Champion, a Michigan Major Hall of Famer, a Detroit Bowling Hall of Famer, and a Founding Member of the Wednesday Senior league at Sterling Lanes. He also says he is part of a great group of guys!
Pat retired from being a truck driver after 44 years and started his passion as a golfer. He would golf with his sons, Steve and Mike, his wife, and his extended group of friends. Pat loved every course and every group of guys. There was never a bad day on the golf course!
For anyone that met Pat, they were instantly drawn to his personality. He was generous, honest, shared his opinion, and treated everyone fairly. Pat’s ‘family’ was extensive and includes every cousin, niece, nephew, bowler, golfer, and person he met. Dad was always a quiet man but as we discovered over the years… with a tremendous heart. He will definitely be missed.
