Palumbo, Richard C., age 61, January 11, 2019. Beloved son of the late Charles and the late Angeline. Dear brother of Marie (Mike) Palazzolo and Nicolina (Richard) Kray. Loving uncle of Steven, Sara, Deanna, Renee, Daniel, Richard, David, Philip, Nicholas, Joseph and Elena. Proud great uncle of Emilia, Levi, Logan, Charles, Juliette and Sabrina. Richard loved cars, nature and the importance of recycling to protect the Earth. He was a strong supporter of the Audubon Society and Humane Society and it would not be out of place to see him frequently at Belle Isle or at the Woodward and Gratiot Dream Cruises. Visitation Monday, January 14 from 3pm to 9pm with a 7pm Rosary at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E. 15 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights. In repose Tuesday, 9:30am until time of Mass 10am at Assumption Grotto Church, 13770 Gratiot Avenue, Detroit. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
